【摘要】:Manyofthefunctionalpropertiesofwaxedpaperandpaperboardarerelatedtotheamountofwaxpresentasasurfacefilm.Testmethodswhichdeterminewaxloadbysolventextractiondonotdifferentiatebetweenthewaxpresentasasurfacewaxlayerandthatwhichhaspenetratedintothesubstrate.Thistestmethod,whichmechanicallyremovesthewax,measurestheamountoneachsurfaceofthesubstrate.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheweightofwaxonthesurfaceofwaxedpaper.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
