【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationestablishesrequirementsforpolyethyleneofraisedtemperature(PE-RT)plastichot-andcold-watertubinganddistributionsystemscomponentsmadeinonestandarddimensionratioandintendedfor100psig(6.9bar)waterserviceuptoandincludingamaximumworkingtemperatureof180x00B0;F(82x00B0;C).Componentsarecomprisedoftubing,fittings,valvesandmanifolds.Tubingmayincorporateanoptionalpolymericinner,middleorouterlayer.TestingofSpecificationF1807andF2159fittingsandPE-RTtubingtotherequirementsofthisstandardindicatethatthesefittingsareappropriateforusewithPE-RTpipingsystems.Requirementsandtestmethodsareincludedformaterials,workmanship,dimensionsandtolerances,burstpressure,sustainedpressure,oxidativeresistance,temperaturecyclingtests,bendstrengthandenvironmentalstresscracking.Alsoincludedaretestsrelatedtosystemmalfunctions.Thecomponentscoveredbythisspecificationareintendedforuseinresidentialandcommercial,hotandcold,potablewaterdistributionsystems.1.2Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.Note18212;SuggestedhydrostaticdesignstressesandhydrostaticpressureratingsfortubingandfittingsarelistedinAppendixX1.UVlabelingguidelinesareprovidedinAppendixX2.Design,assembly,andinstallationconsiderationsareprovidedinAppendixX3.Anoptionalperformancequalificationandanin-plantqualitycontrolprogramarerecommendedinAppendixX4.1.3Units8212;Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
