【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverswroughtweldingfittingsforpressurepiping,factory-madefromnickelandnickelalloys.ThreadedfittingsascoveredinASMEB16.11arealsocoveredbythisspecification.Thetermweldingappliestobutt-weldingorsocket-weldingpartssuchas45and90x00B0;elbows,180x00B0;bends,caps,tees,reducers,lap-jointstubends,andothertypes,ascoveredbyASMEB16.9,ASMEB16.11,MSSSP-43,MSSSP-95,andMSSSP-97.1.1.1Severalgradesofnickelandnickelalloysareincludedinthisspecification.Gradesaredesignatedwithaprefix,WPorCR,basedontheapplicableASMEorMSSdimensionalandratingstandards.1.1.2ClassWPfittingsarethosemanufacturedtotherequirementsofASMEB16.9,B16.11.1.1.3ForeachoftheWPnickelandnickelalloygrades,severalclassesoffittingsarecoveredtoindicatewhetherseamlessorweldedconstructionwasutilized.Classdesignationsarealsoutilizedtoindicatethenondestructivetestmethodandextentofnondestructiveexamination(NDE).Table1isgeneralsummaryofthefittingclassesapplicabletoallWPgradesofnickelandnickelalloyscoveredbythisspecification.TherearenoclassesfortheCRgrades.Specificrequirementsarecoveredelsewhere.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotapplytocastweldingfittings.1.3Optionalsupplementaryrequirementsareprovidedforfittingswhereagreaterdegreeofexaminationisdesired.Thesesupplementaryrequirementscallforadditionaltests.Whendesired,oneormoreofthesemaybespecifiedintheorder.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
