【摘要】:Theasphaltshouldbeextractedfromtheaggregate-asphaltmixtureinaccordancewithMethodAofTestMethodsD2172(centrifugemethod)asthereissomeexperimentalevidencethattherecoveredasphaltmayhaveslightlylowerpenetrationvalueswhenrecoveredfromsolutionsobtainedfromhotextractionmethods.1.1ThistestmethodcoverstherecoverybytheAbsonmethodofasphaltfromasolutionfromapreviouslyconductedextraction.Theasphaltisrecoveredwithpropertiessubstantiallythesameasthoseitpossessedinthebituminousmixtureandinquantitiessufficientforfurthertesting.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
